Efi issues
I swapped the cab on an 88 f250 with a 460 and auto trans and now can't get anything but lights and gauges to work. Fuel pump won't run with key foreword and it won't turn over by the key. I swapped the computer and most of wireing from original truck. The cab I put on it is from 91 truck with a 302 and 5speed, I knew id have to do something with clutch safety switch/nuetral safety but figured the fuel pump would turn on with the key foreword before I hit that problem. Could the column itself be screwing me? Or maybe missing a ground somewhere?

I checked fuses, didn't get into relays. Everything worked fine before I swapped cabs. Seems like the computers not getting power. Has anyone seen any good write ups for efi 460 wiring? I wouldn't mind getting rid of all the wiring that doesn't make the motor run.

Rip it all out by my extra set of D3 heads and extra intake/carb rip all the wiring out in a MSD box and let it eat...

What did you do with the wiring for the trans? Without knowin what you kept, and what you didn't, trans wiring is my best guess.
It took me the better part of a sat to pull ALL the unneeded wiring out of my old 94 when I swapped that to a carb. It's a very involved process.
