I am wanting to install an AOD in my 79 4x4 Supercab and wondered if anyone has ACTUALLY performed this swap?? My concern is the transfer case. Danny talks about it in his article. Does it really work?? I have read the article several times but am still uneasy about the transfer case situation. Please give me any tips if you have performed this AOD swap.

What exactly do you need clarification on? I think my article is very detailed in reference to the NP205 transfer case. You must also reuse the transfer case side mounting support (brackets & bushing).

Feel free to ask questions. Although, if you're serious about performing this overdrive transmission conversion, I highly suggest, you call me (to discuss other conversion specific details).
