Hello - I searched first but didn't find any threads on this (sorry if I missed any)

I folded all of the seats down last night to move a cabinet. I went to fold up the second row today to put a child car seat back in the vehicle - the seat came up just fine. I put it back down for a minute to make it easier to reach the child restraint latch below the seat behind one of the other seats and I heard a click when the middle seat went down. Now it will not budge. I can't lift it up - it's stuck in the flat/down position and I don't know how to get it up. The wire for releasing the seat from the up position won't move - I've tried pulling on it from underneath, I don't know if it should budge at all given the position of the seat.

Any tips or tricks on how to release the seat? I've never had this happen. It always just folds back up by simply lifting the seat. I've thought of attempting to unbolt the seat but I don't know if I would even be able to do that. I am under the impression I need the seat up to access bolts.

Were you able to look and see if anything fell in there that might be jamming the mechanism?
Any blown fuses?

The second row is manual, not powered. The truck was pretty much empty so I doubt anything fell in, though it is surely possible. I tried to figure out a diagram of the mechanism/moving parts to figure out what is supposed to move and settle where. I can't get anything to budge so there is either some lock/latch I need to undo or I need to force the seat past a point it shouldn't have gone to. I had an 03 for a few years and never had this issue. This was only the third time I folded down the middle seat since acquiring the 04.

The click when it went down is what has me wondering...is there an unknown lock or did it go down too far.

Something so minor but frustrating.
