1st timer here,
I'm installing a Boss Manifold Intake and a AFE Cold Air Intake tomorrow on my 2011 F150 Super Crew. I know about the firewall tabs, the coolant line extension, and removing the "taped-on" cover of the boss, does anyone have any suggestions or tips on any other "gotchya's"?

 

If you haven't already, check out this video. Hopefully, it will answer all your questions. It does sound like you already have everything covered.

 

I'd skip pulling the manifold cover off. It is easier to just cut the sound deadening out of the way and maneuver it in.
it will be a tight fit but it will go in.

 

Hope you do a review when you get it done. Ive been thinking about doing this on mine

 

Anyone know how much taller the Boss intake is?
