After I read your post I looked at old pics of when I got it vs what it looks like with these and it's easy to see you are right now. I'm way too far in to worry about it, they will work just fine but ill stick to a larger tire.

You brought an old truck back to life. It will look great and you can tell people it's an F2. That will make it special. I have a tendency to tell people that the most important items are: the steering wheel, the dash and the top of the hood because that's what you look at most. We're still anxiously awaiting completion.

Now the work can continue again... goal had been to focus on getting it running again right away and finish wiring headlights, but I keep getting distracted by small parts.

The small parts packaging is quickly filling up my trash can so that's kinda rewarding itself.

it's coming together, gonna head out to finish installing seat and try again at the tail lights install without removing the rear fender.
Pulled valve covers, pulled spark plugs and refogged cylinders, checked torque, relubed rockers and changed oil, bypassed heater, filled coolant, battery relocated, headliner installed, interior trim, gauges, carpet layer, gas neck connected, rear upholstery lined up, and glove box and vents installed....

Restarting it Friday or Saturday.... plenty left to do

Just as a suggestion, you might paint the shift lever and steering wheel to match the outside.

Beds all laid out but still have to tighten down about half the bolts. Windows installed besides rear, tore rear window gasket when installing so ordered a replacement.
Replaced starter but it's running great now. Now I can get it in for exhaust to be finished just in time for cruising season

I went back and glanced through the whole thread. You've had several life changing events and made it to this point in good shape. Congratulations to you and your giving wife.

Tires and rims arrived... pretty tight in the back so I'll have to look at that closer once I get it back home from polishing. I have moon's for center caps
Plenty more to do but it's been nice to drive it

the hood needed to be repainted due to adhesion issue but I got the truck back and was able to start a few small projects
plenty more to go now that I have the truck back, which was at painters last 3+ weeks. Besides the hood everything is polished and waxed now
