I'm waiting for the seat upholstery to arrive, but I'm close to being done with the restoration. I installed the grill and bumper on the front. I received the trailer wiring kit and brake box from etrailer.com this week so I will be installing that soon. I'm going to have it towed to town next week to have the dual exhaust installed on it, then to the alignment shop to get the front end aligned. after that I need to figure out the wheels. I may sell it soon, so if I decide to, I may let the buyer pick the wheels.

It won't allow me to upload the pictures... I'll try again The build sheet is at about $15k right now. I haven't tracked the exact hours, but it's well into the hundreds. It took 2 months just to do the drive train before I even started the body. Man there's a lot of u joints, ball joints...etc. on this thing...lol. I had some trouble with the paint, including receiving the wrongly labeled paint from an online paint store, which resulted in my having to wash the whole thing back off with reducer and starting over... that set me back about 70 hours right there, what a mess that was. it had the wrong motor in it (302) so I had to find a good 351W to have built. it had a C6 trans in it, with an aod torque converter in it (it wasn't running thank goodness), so I had the transmission completely rebuilt and a new "proper" torque converter because I didn't trust it at that point. It has a Summit Racing intake/ carb combo, Flowtech headers and CFV racing serpetine kit (Not impressed and wouldn't buy another, as I had to build or machine some of my own parts to make it work. it was supposed to be a bolt on kit. one of the belts didn't fit and I had to find a custom sized belt).

don't think I've ever seen such a big power booster in a bronk, but have not looked under the hood of a BII more'n once.
Never saw a 351 in 1 (5ohs'n 302s, yes),
is that what they have for a hood hinge oe?
Like ta get it in my heavy steel (C avatar to the left/top).
Perfect exterior/body color.

It's a full sized Bronco and it is numbers matching now. the 86 had what they called a 351W HO motor, which just meant factory 4 bbl mostly.

"...It's a full sized Bronco..."
o0OPp! (I saw the glass top removed & frm behind & thought BII altho they were't even removable) hummmm...
fooled by the dash?
just "somewherelse" I guess
Anyway:
Still wonder Y the huge power-to-the-breaks booster
(looks like a 24 inch circle)
& if I can retro fit those hinges on my EB...
(I guess I would not B able to tilt it back against the hood/windshield clip (past 90*) any more.

the hinges are the same on the Bronco and F series pickup through the 80's so should be able to find a set in a junk yard somewhere. the brake booster is new, but is OEM.

That's because you live up north.... those trucks/broncos are everywhere down here... get on a used parts locator and you should be able to find them. I may have a set from my "86 donor bronco if I didn't throw them away. Ill look and see if I can find them. If I still have them I'll ship them up to you..(you pay shipping) if you want them.

Transmission service with a new filter & 16 Qt of new fluid! Also replaced the rusty steel cooler lines with new SS lines. And a new OEM Ford transmission oil pan with a drain plug! The inside looked really good for showing 227K miles, no metal or piles of clutch material in the pan. It must have been serviced regularly before I got it. One more item checked off my list before the trip to Moab.
