I had a 200 3.3 I6 in my 82 mustang that was straight piped with a cherry bomb tube welded on. It sounded like an airplane taking off when accelerating. Granted it was a small motor. At low RPMs they sound good but higher RPMs, higher pitch, not as good of a sound IMO

They still have that nice deep sound on my 351, the highway drone is a lot more easy to stand. I had 40's series on it before. I must say I like the sound taking off and if I get on it, they sound very nice. If wot it, you know I'm running up the road or behind ya

I have some on my 78. They sound... Ok at low rpms and when I get on it it's alright, the exhaust materials aren't the best though. Once I get my headers on and solid pipe vs this flex crap it will be better. But, when that happens I won't have cherry bombs anymore, I will have the summit street/strip mufflers. I think they are flowmaster knockoffs or something.

I got a dual in/out thrush on mine and when you get into it it growls really deep but at idle its deep yet quiet. I do but don't like it at the same time

I like to hear myself think and be to talk and hear my stereo. If I want loud, I'll just ride in my buddies 6 second drag car. I'd never put cherry bombs on anything, too raspy and 70's sounding

Installed 6 new Doestch Tech shocks with blue rubber shock boots lol. Working on replacing the rear shoes and hardware. New Wheel cylinders, and rubber lines front and rear. Have to repair the front steel line that broke while removal. Also put on new rear sway bar links. The bushings were all but gone and one of the links had a real nice bend to it. Still waiting on the motor. Ive been told this week should be the week though. Fingers crossed

Well I drove it to work this morning and the wheels are still on . I think when I get home I will check the diff fluid, a small amount came out of the, now broken breather tube I don't think it was very much though so I shouldn't have any "lack of lube" issues. I have a few bottles of gear oil from my t-case so I can put some in and feel relieved.

It's nice to have my truck back on the road. I was beginning to forget how little power it had on the freeway.

Finished hardware on water pump and timing cover all grade 8.. Left 1 broken bolt in but got one broken bolt out and I was happy.. New lower rad and upper rad hose.. So far no leaks.. But I gotta change the oil.. It's a must.. Happy with the way it runs.. But I might have to change the egr.. Not sure yet.. Why do people have to aggravate me on a Monday??!?!?
