What did you do to the Bronco Today?

Sadly... Yes, I don't have the funds or time to get involved in a full swap right now, and I got a great deal, plus with the mods I already have and the B&M shift kit I just ordered* this transmission will have a long-happy life (knock on plywood).

1Ton, that's about how much a brand new C-6 is here in the states as well. I used to work for a dealership and they got trannys in from a company called Jasper, I had them grab me a quote and I think it was around 2-3k. Not with installation. I will see if I can find it in my thread from my rebuild.
Today I watched my truck get pelted by rain...
EDIT: I was incorrect, I found my posting and it was $1,345 WITH my small employee discount from my work. I had thought that was a good deal back then, sheesh.

Put gas in the truck... $73 got me from under 1/2 tank to a completely full tank. Hopefully that lasts.
Also I may have to diag my vacuum system, I can hear a whistling sound when the engine is running, similar to a leak. It doesn't seem to be running badly though so I can't imagine what it is. I also spent $70+ on some new work boots. they ar the Georgia Giant romeo slip on boots. They aren't cheap but if they can hold up in my line of work, I'll be happy. Next I need a tape measure and a few other odds and ends.

I used a drill based paint/rust removal wheel to clean off the caking of rust on the radius arm I just had the new bracket put on last week.. then hit it with some Rustoleum Rust Reformer.. also did the shock tower after scraping off the off undercoating that was falling off.. while not perfect it will/should last a little longer than just leaving the rust sitting their munching..
Still drying photo..
