New tires

I put the new rims and tires on today. Not much left to do, I'm still waiting for the new seat upholstery and then she'll be brand new!

I went right back at trying to start my Bronco after I abandoned it for 2 years. I was too tired of fixing things so I bought a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero with low miles which has been a blessing so far, little to no issues. Finally made a breakthrough and found the problem is caused by a failure in the fuel delivery system. In the following days I'll try replacing the fuel pump with a whole Motorcraft assembly, and will have a look, maybe replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator too. Tried a Bosch fuel pump and new filter (the original one was completely clogged) to no avail. I'm suspecting one of the fuel lines might be clogged somehow.

Had a hot restart issue. Pulled the Ignition Control Module (ICM) to clean the back and reapply the heat transfer grease. It seams to have helped.
Last week I got the following done:
New tires mounted and balanced on reconditioned stock allow rims. Installed on Bronco.
New front brake pads.
Changed front axle gear lube.
Changed transfer lube.

I've done a lot to the Bronco since the last time I reported in. Got new ball joints and tie rod ends installed. New Kumho Road Venture 32s installed and a BFG All Terrain for a spare. Taught my little brother how to wax up the truck in preparation for the local car shows. Kinda hard to believe that technically it's an "antique".

Preparing to install a slightly larger exhaust and a flowmaster we've had sitting around for a while. I want to punch out cats but dad won't let me - he doesn't want to pollute more than we have to.

I put a new rear window motor in it and then took my boys camping. I used to go camping with my dad in the back of his 1978 blazer and I want my little ones get those same experiences. They had a blast and have been asking to go again.

Your 33's look WAY better than the 35's.

Nice Vermillion red paint and shiney stuff.
Way better than the murdered out trend.

This I'd like to see; was thinking of doing the same. Didn't know how to over-ride the 'no video when vehicle in motion'; good to know. Obviously it's responsible for the driver to not watch anything other than the road while driving, but the wife likes to do so as a passenger. Anyway...

Do you have any photos of before/during/after?
How much of the radio bezel did you cut, etc...

Mr. "I Hate Fords" (my pops) needed to borrow my truck today. His '07 DMax is down with a tensioner pulley issue and his '99 Tahoe is no longer insured or plated. We needed to get a 1/2 load of crushed gravel in a 14 ft dump trailer about 5 miles to my house. The only other vehicle with a receiver hitch is the old '88. Dad spent a day installing a brake controller and 7-way plug, and this morning we picked up the trailer. Wish I would have gotten pictures - the old man was squatted down but was able to move and stop the load just fine.

Let it be noted: I will never endorse towing ANYTHING with our Bronco other than the 6x8 utility trailer we have but this time I let curiosity get the best of me. Also worth noting that the "ford hater" has nothing but good things to say about the Bronco: "it's the only ford I'd buy", "the 351 is a good strong engine", etc..... He told me today that he actually bought a brand new 1989 Eddie Bauer and pulled a boat with it back in the day. Ford hater... yeah right.
