That sucks.. I haven't had anything like that happen with my vehicles. Probably one of the scariest things that happened to my vehicles was when i had the deathwobble on my bronco. The Track bar bushings were beyond toast and the whole thing was flopping around. At about 35 mph or so the whole truck would gradually shake worse and worse. It was enough to make my tool box and other junk in the back slide around.

I gotta spray some wd40 in the cylinder walls..
But I could believe it.. that oil was flaoting around in the water around the truck..
Wtf it got on the paint job???1??!?!

Luckally it got on one side and I had to rub the soap in pretty good.. came out really nice after I hand waxed it.. that's what she said

Yea they are going to redo it on their dime. But my neighbor is thinking it might be worse than I originally thought. He is thinking either the skirt on the piston cracked, or a wrist pin let loose. If a cylinder wall is scored. then the motor is junk. Its already .040 over. and the max you can go is .060...So there's a chance that Ill need a whole new block...Which will really **** me off. Cause It is a #'s matching truck with only 57k on it. If that happens...then there's going to be a big problem.

Sounds like the wrist pin.. if it scored the block then your screwed..
I wish you luck man..
Uhh.. I got big electrical problems right now.. something backfed and killed the starter.. when I jumped my ford escort.. and I shut my bronco off.. battery was dead and starter shot..

Wow, sounds like my luck this week. Left work friday and the "death wobble" started really bad at about 30 mph. Stopped, walked around, shook a few things, jumped back in and baby'd it to the bank. After a withdrawl decided the problem was definately on passenger side. Got under it and noticed that I was missing a bolt from the axle pivot on passenger side! Center of the axle was hanging down and the axle shaft was holding the bronco up. Got out the Hi-lift and lifted the passenger tire, realigned the hole and drove a punch into the bushing. went to nearest salvage yard and the guy there was trying to close up @4:00! (boss was gone) He wouldn't even sell me a bolt from the front frame lying upside down just behind the shop! I was irate and left, went to other salvage yard and they let me go out amongst their fords and pull a bolt and nut, FREE! So while I was there I bought a passenger vent window for my '94 F150.
still have to call Rough Country to get the correct bolt and offset washer so can set the camber right.

Yikes that's scary. You're lucky the wheel and axles didn't just fall off.

Finished maf conversion on an automatic EEC iv

I finally finished my mass air conversion from that useless speed density system even though it did work. Had a bug that I couldn't trace easily but found removing the map/bap sensor electrical connector made it run better? Ya it did but found that my damn egr control solenoid was the one to blame for a bizzare surging idle. I changed that out and bam like new. Wish I was a gear head...

We haven't gotten snow yet. Hopefully soon though, it should be fun.

I planned on adding some oil to my bronco, it is probably nearing the end of the dipstick, i am getting side tracked a lot though.
