What did you do to the Bronco Today?

I plan to do my intake gasket real soon. While the intake is off, I want to see how much my friend will charge to polish it. I'm assuming porting involves pulling heads which I don't really want to deal with.
If I get it polished then while its out, I'll tackle the ground straps.
For the intake, I have no idea what gasket to get.. I got the stock one last time and it got ruined when I installed it due to some pegs on the heads or some crap..

Usually I glue the gasket on with RTV to the intake. And by usually I mean last time. I've never done an intake otherwise.
My current issue is figuring out which gasket I need. Last time the NAPA guy made sure the ports fit but the little pegs on the heads pushed the gasket up and caused a leak. It got worse from there.
Not to mention they told me I didn't need the front and rear gaskets, they advised that I used RTV to make the gasket for front and back. That was a terrible idea cause the amount of space between the block and intake was way too much.

There shouldnt be any dowels on the head, on the intake side. Should be slick as a babies ***. And the only place I use rtv is in the corners where the rubber intake gaskets actually turn up onto the heads. Although I have seen people use nothing but rtv before, I always figured a Ford engineer got paid some pretty good $$ to design the gaskets that they came with from the factory.

Here is what the edelbrock website recommended for my intake and motor

Looks much better than the ones I have now. If you look closely it looks like there are small cut on each side For the pegs. I think I'll try using this guy.

While everyone here in southern oregon is enjoying the good weather, Im pulling apart my dash. Before, if I had the headlights on with the radio on, and turned the vehicle off, but left the headlights on, then the radio would stay on, and turn off when I turned the headlights off. So while installing my new sound deck and apm/sub, I found that for the constant 12v wire, they used the power wire for the cigaret lighter. There were also three other wires that had constant 12v going to them that were cut and bare, and the only wire I could use for the keyed on 12v was also attached to the headlights somehow. So I made a new one for now by running a wire to the fuze box. Needless to say, the dash came apart afterwards so I could see if they screwed any thing else up... Im not looking forward to putting it all back together

EDIT: I didn't have a clear picture but I found this.
This is pretty much the same thing as mine I think. When I get my intake off, I'll make sure to get pictures. That little pin pushed the gasket up and ripped it creating leaks. My fix was slapping RTV all over it around.
