Like what is you problem pal? You don't like people nor life then take a long walk off a short pier. The sales figure I posted were from Reuters. Those numbers may in the near future help some F-150 buyer. If you don't agree then go get a job with them if you think they're wrong. The King Ranch question is a legit one whether you agree or not is totally irrelevant to the whole scheme of things. You have nothing of substance to add then just buzz off and do us all a big favor.

Truthfully, I really don't think Ford wants to sell any 6.2L engines in F150's for CAFE reasons. They only offer it in certain models because the competition offers engines in that size and power range in a 1/2 ton. I would buy a 6.2L in an XLT in a heartbeat if Ford offered it. It would be perfect for my use. I'm sure a lot of other people would too. But since they don't I just keep driving my 06.

They probably did, but limited availability insures their goal is met. There is also the probabilty that there just aren't enough engines to go around since SD's use them as standard equipment. At any rate, Ford can count me as a "lost sale" as I won't settle for anything less than I want. I just won't spend that kind of money and settle for less.

As for walking off a pier, done it a time or two, its quite enjoyable if the water isn't too cold...
