AC Blend Door Location and Heater Core Valve Location
My AC is not blowing cold air in the 100+ degrees heat. I've read the thread on improving the AC and it was real informative. I want to check the simple things first before I take it in to see if they fix the problem.
So my question is on the V10 without the climate control, where is the blend door located? Also, is that valve to the heater core in the same location as the diesels I've read about?
The AC is cool when it's in the mid 70's outside. Just not very cool when it's hot out. I do see water dripping down pretty good when the AC is running. Compressor does cycle frequently in idle. Condensor is pretty clean.
Thanks in advance.

The heater bypass valve is on the heater line on the left side of the engine (IIRC) looking at it from the front. Hard to miss if you follow the small coolant lines to the firewall.
This is the 3V V10 but you can clearly see what you're looking for. Look at the right side above the yellow dipstick and a bit to the right. See that little canister? That's the actuator that bypasses the heater core.
Blend door is in the HVAC housing behind the dash.
