1953 Ford F100 $5500

Year: 1953
Make: Ford
Model: F-100
Price: $5500
Mileage: 1200
Color: Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): MI
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
Color: Red
Engine: 5.0L

It's been 10 years since I did anything with this truck, and I recently lost indoor storage for it. Time to see if I can find a new home.
1953 F100 1/2 Ton short bed. Body is in decent condition, it will look fine for a driver, but there is bondo here and there that probably should be addressed if you were doing a complete build. It's been that way since I go the truck in 1997. I have the tailgate, running boards and bumpers, just not installed in the pic. The bed floor was junk, I have not gotten to replacing it.
1993 302 V8, GT40 heads (not 40P), F303 cam, MAC shorty headers. Currently has a stock 2 barrel carb and stock intake off 77(ish) 302. I have not started the engine in 10 years, but I fogged it when I put it in storage. Motor had 25k miles on it when I bought it, and I installed new main and rod bearings when I pulled the crank to have it inspected (motor out of a wrecked Mustang, I had it Magnafluxed to make sure it was OK). Motor has less than 1500 miles on it since I built it.
T-5 trans in great shape, shifted great, Ford Motorsport Clutch and flywheel from D&D performance).
Total Cost Involved (TCI) Mustang II front crossmember, TCI tubular upper control arms, Grenada 11" front brakes (stock is 9.5"), and a strut rod eliminator kit (don't remember who made it) installed. Power steering.
Late-80's Mustang Tilt Steering column. Seats are front buckets out of a mid-90's Chevy Astro.
VDO Speedo, Tach, Water Temp, Volts and oil pressure.
Wiring is from a 1977 For Pickup. All factory connectors, and in very good condition. All lights and signals are integrated to the Mustang steering column, and would work fine.
Stock under-cab fuel tank modified to have an EFI in-tank pump (for if/when I was going to install EFI).

Current rear suspension is a modified Ford T-bird/Cougar Independent Rear Suspension, with custom tubular control arms, and shortened axles from Factory Five. 3.07 Axle ratio, open diff. Standard 8.8 diff parts and gears will work, the housing is an 8.8, not the weaker 7.5. Halfshafts are the beefier SuperCoupe splines, and are custom units from Factory Five Racing (Cobra Kit car makers). QA1 Adjustable Coilover shocks/Hypercoil Springs are new, and have been holding up the truck for 3 weeks. Other than that, it's been on jack stands. . Suspension was never completed, I set the project aside "temporarily" and I never moved past this point. Therefore, it's not a running/driving vehicle, but it rolls.

Wheels- Wheelsmith Smoothies, 15x8 in front, 15x10. 5x4.5" Ford bolt pattern (also drilled for 5x4.75" GM bolt pattern). Wheels are powdercoated grey with NEW BFG Radial T/A's 245/60-15 front, 295/50-15 rear. These have 0 miles on them, until 3 weeks ago they were hanging from the truck on jack stands.

Other parts that go with the truck, and are not available separate. If you want these parts, you need to buy the truck.
Fairlane Fiberglass hood. New, never installed, still in black gel-coat. These are no longer being made.
Spare Doors. These are in decent shape, the ones on the truck look good, paint is decent, but I think there is bondo in them. I got the spares to have blasted and repair them off the truck.
Spare left front fender- Original steel in very good condition.
Also included is a a Ford 8.8" Axle out of a Leaf spring Explorer. 3.73 gear with traction lock. Disc brakes too.
