Time for ugrades/repairs

Trucks egt's have been running a bit high and down on power.
Order bellowed up pipes, ebv delete pedestal and housing, WW, ccv kit, and 6637 kit from clay. Thinking about doing the hutch mod as well.

Sounds like you have a good plan. Are getting the WW because of surge?

Doing the WW because my stock wheel has some chipped corners on the fins.

It does.

I would put a stock wheel back on if I wasn't getting surge. I would get surge with my stock turbo only when I was pulling a load.

Chipped corners might come from contact with the compressor housing.
You might want to address the cause of that issue especially since you'll have the turbo out anyway...

How much less boost does the WW product? I checked the turbo for end play and side movement and its tight, Clay said the KYN style filter is what probably did that to my wheel.

I don't notice a whole lot less boost personally... I had surge issues when towng, buddy of mine had surge issues all the time. We both swapped out the stock wheel for a WW and surge was gone, completely! Anyway, running in my 80e setting, I can still build almost 27 lbs of boost, buddy hits 30 lbs in his 140 race tune.

I run a WW on my 2000 with the Zf6. I bought it because of surge issues and I really like the way it seems to build boost at lower RPM's than the stock wheel. I rarely run my truck over 2500 RPM's where the stock wheel produces more boost than the WW. Can't speak for autos but it works great with a manual!
