Kinda gettin' towards the whole rice-rod thing, but sweet none the less. The fact that you did it yourself rather than bought a bunch of cheap garbage that everybody else has is a bonus too.

 

Too garish & high-maintenance for me, but if you like it, that's all that counts.

 

It certainly is colorful.

 

sorry but i think its stupid, why spend money and time on that? it doesnt look that great either. spend your money on the things that matter...like whats under the hood, it also looks like one of them ricers you see in ghettos. thats whats wrong with this world today

 

I really like the design and that you did it yourself.

But man is that a bright red.... It looks like it matches the truck color pretty well though.

First off, I really appreciate all of the opinions here. I'm not expecting everyone in the world to like what I've done. Everyone has an opinion and I respect that.

As for the price and time issue, I think I invested about $8 total on about 4 small cans of enamel spray paint. The time period it took was about 2 weekends. That meaning 2 saturdays. And that's not even 2 full days. The actual painting probably took a couple of hours and the rest was dissasembling and reassembling the parts and drying time of course.

My reasoning on why I did my interior is that I want to start small and cheap, and work my way up from there. I figure that appearance is more important than performance to start out with and plus it's way cheaper. I will be doing more modifications than just my interior, but that's just where I decided to start. Plus, haven't you guys seen sports cars lately? Everyone is starting to do the two-tone thing.

Not to mention that the stock all gray interior is kind of bland and plain. I thought it needed some excitment. Plust the color matches pretty much exactly.

I don't know...maybe you should try a little RED . Just joking, I agree the stock grey is dull but all that red is blinding. It does look pretty sharp though.

I like that alot. If my truck wasn't used for work everyday, I would consider doing it myself.

I like it, it reminds me of the older Fords that were made from steel, where the interior was painted to match the exterior.


I also catch a lot of flak, this is the front of my Bronco.

Do you intend on painting your front bumper the red to match? At least the gray section.

 

Ya, I'm planning on painting the front bumber and the grill section to match. That will be done with my new paint job when I get the money.
