Flexplate on Explorer - Lining up to torque converter

When dropping my new 4.6L engine build back in to my 2002 Explorer, I did my best to line up the red marks on the flexplate and torque converter. After spending a whole day wrestling with it to get everything lined up, I now notice that the holes on the flexplate appear to be off by one.

The Explorer flex plate has 8 equally spaced holes instead of just the needed four. Kind of similar to this picture I found online:

Am I ok if the red spot does not line up exactly as it was before or do I need to lift the engine back out to get it exact?

Thanks

I assume you figured this out by now but 4 of the holes are outside the other four (Further from center). Only the outside holes will line up with the torque converter from what I could tell when I installed mine yesterday. I can't imagine that having the red marks lined up would make any difference as they are two different assemblies and balancing is not dependent on one another.
