Mitch, I had a detached retina a couple years ago. Mine was pretty bad. I can see out that eye but it's not very good. However, I had other issues with the same eye prior to that. Basically I had a cataract surgery that went wrong. I too was told that I'm lucky my eye wasn't sitting in a bucket. Good luck with your recovery. Going face down for a week was bad enough, I can't imagine going two weeks.

Wow...so much going on in everyone's lives. Very happy to hear all about it.
I spent the week traveling with my boss. We get along pretty well and I'm ahead of forecast (which is likely why we get along btw) so the week wasn't too bad. My buddy summed it up best...here is a transcript of our text conversation:
Buddy: calls me...no answer
Me: I'm traveling with my boss this week
Buddy: That sucks
Me: LOL
Me: He's actually very cool
Me: We get along
Buddy: That's good. Still sucks.
Buddy: Call me when you lose the suit
ROFL

Far as the mirror is concerned, tell them you drive a real vehicle and practicing in small cars is bad for you.
Afternoon truckers, been a good while since I’ve posted anything. Been EXTREMELY hectic here lately, not sure if I’ve posted this, but towards the end of March I changed employment yet again!, Actually went back to my former employer. They ended up giving me a pretty good pay increase, all of my time and seniority back, I’m supposed to be working a schedule now, mostly land.....that hasn’t worked out yet though....LOL (I may get to some of you folks area, they way things are picking up). The group I’m in covers the entire CONUS and Canada if needed.....anyway, I digress.....
I changed employment on the 26th of March and was full steam ahead until a couple weeks ago, started having problems with my right eye, ignored it until I pretty much couldn’t see out of it, went to the doc and found it was a detached / torn retina. It’s been repaired, but it’ll be 3 to 6 months before I get decent vision in that eye, still have silicone oil behind the eye to hold everything in place. I have no idea what caused it, but I do recall seeing what was like “lightning flashes” in that eye every so often, then an onslaught of “floaters”.....the surgery wasn’t too bad, recovery absolutely sux though, wanted me in a face down posture for the better part of 2 weeks........Ms. Vicki was about ready to put out the other eye.....LOL
If any of you start having issues like increased floaters, “flashes”, etc in an eye, don’t hesitate to see your Doctor, I was told I was extremely lucky that they were able to save that eye due to waiting so long.
other than that, things are pretty normal around here, summer has finally caught up with us.....with a vengeance. Hope everyone is doing great, if y’all happen to be in So. Ms.....give us a shout!

Howdy guys!
LOL, probably a lot cheaper than a super duty mirror.
Opening day for fishing here yesterday and it was beautiful so the boy and I headed out.
Tried from the shore
And the water
Didn't catch anything but we had some fun!
Have a good day everyone!!
