Got the gas line in today. I even helped them push in the trench with our skidsteer. Much faster than watching them backfill with a mini hoe. I need to drive on it a bunch the next day or two and make sure it gets compacted. Hit 45°, Felt really nice after last weeks 5° HVAC contractor is installing blake pipe inside the house this week, I can probably call for a meter set next week and maybe have some inside heat in two weeks.

Is that your country cabin Gerry? Beautiful house swamp Don. Fish looks like a handful to catch for sure.
We went to the RV show last night, billed as the largest indoor RV show in N America. Prolly true since we were there for 5+ hours and didn't see them all. They start looking the same after a bit.
The fold up "step above" steps are all the rage this year. As usual, "half ton towable" is a sad joke, big and bigger is the recurring theme. Pop ups must be waning in popularity, didn't see as many there as usual. Dark wood interiors seem to be out. Saw no RV's I liked better than the one we have, well at least to own. Of course none of them came with my favorite feature of "it's paid for". Did see one 5ver that stood out, had the kitchen upstairs in the front, LR in the middle, bed and bath in the back.
We did buy some deck furniture. A couple Amish guys were there selling some stuff made out of the plastic deck plank material, seems very sturdy. I pick it up in a month or so in Amish country about an hour south of here. Not that we need it anytime soon, we are getting a few inches of Lake Erie at the moment. So much for 57 on Tuesday.
Stay safe in your adventures out there all.

The snowfall looks nice to me Eric but I prefer the sun and 60 degree temps we'll get in a few hours!
Did a lot of work for a company in Mentor years ago and they would tell me how much lake effect snow they would get. I'd put the phone up to the AC that was running just to tick them off!! I like snow but only for 2 or 3 days!!!

Mentor is right in the heart of the snow belt. I live in what I call the anti-snow belt........ normally. Every now and then if the wind is right, we'll get it too. Still coming down, but it's almost done. Looks like we got 3" of fluffy snow. First snow all year aside from a couple dustings. 10-15 miles away they got nothing.
