Don, the new color on the truck looks awesome!!
Spent a rainy night at the campground, but at least we are camping! Colder air coming in this afternoon with clearing. Slept exceptionally well last night with all the rain. First time in a long time I've slept more than 6 hours straight. Got almost 11...!!

I was feeling cold because Randolph Utah was only 7degrees last night, Then I saw on facebook this morning others complaining about Mt Rushmore area being -7 . Gratefull we are 20 here at the house and will hit 45 for the high. My middle daughter is visiting from OKC today with our newest Grand daughter. It's my daughters 30th birthday. Wow time flies.
My oldest daughter called yesterday in tears, Her restaurant in Long Beach CA burned to the ground. Not sure what caused the fire. She is insured for the fire damage, but is sweating the cash flow during the repairs. And she will miss the most profitable season with all the seasonal parties. Plus people will have to rebook since she is out of business. Plus how to take care of her employees for the christmas season. She was grandfathered in with the old building ( a 1940's style dinner) but may have to bring everything up to current california code if she rebuilds. I see a trip in my future going to California and working on her rebuild.
One of my vendors called with tickets for the Jazz-Celtics game for tonight. So I'm taking my wife and enjoying dinner and game in their private suite. My son in law has been hinting that my wife should take my daughter out for a birthday dinner and let him go to the game so the ticket doesn't go to waste. Not going to happen, My wife is coming to the game.

Just to cheer the mood a bit, here is a Friday Funny.
A man was helping one of his cows give birth, when he noticed his 4-year-old son standing wide-eyed at the fence, soaking in the whole event. The man thought, "Great... he's 4 and I'm gonna have to start explaining the birds and bees. No need to jump the gun - I'll just let him ask, and I'll answer."
After everything was over, the man walked over to his son and said, "Well son, do you have any questions?"
"Just one," gasped the still wide-eyed lad. "How fast was that calf going when he hit the back of that cow?"
Enjoy,and it is hard to say have a great day in Jon’s case. And there are others also. Prayers sent.

Good morning everyone!!
In the 50's this morning and windy but no rain and fog. Wife and I plus the 5 yr old grandson are leaving shortly to watch the 10 yr old's flag football game. If they win they play in the superbowl for the championship later today. Woke up to the sound of shotguns and the opening day of duck season.

Man, lots of devastating news coming out of California the last few days. With the shooting one day and the big fire that next that wiped out Paradise. And there are still fires burning down there. A friend of mine lives in Paradise, I haven't heard whether or not she lost her home.
