Thanks Andre...could have been a lot worse. Small body shop in our closest little town but they do great work and hoping to get it back Thursday or Friday.

Fun morning in the land of ice and snow....... Roads are very slippery. Many cars and trucks have reshaped sheet metal today.....
Not me !!..... Made it to school and back home this morning without ant wrinkles in Jolly Green........

I might have to consider a nap today... The temp has warmed up to a whopping 22°F / -6°C
I do think i'll avoid outside work......

I was thinking the very same thing. A few years ago, I rebuilt a 20" bandsaw for my basement woodshop. Took out the single phase motor and replaced it with a 3hp 3 phase with VFD control. So smooth and wonderful to use on a bandsaw. No need for a blade brake either. Would seem like a nice option here too.

well guys, thanks for the tip. A VFD is on its way!!! I am thinking the 3 phase motor that is there is likely OK. Doesn’t smell burned, and bearings feel good, so I am chancing it.

Morning gang! It's 3 am here is GA and according to some, we still do not know who our Governor is!!! This has been a total black eye for this state. The dem female taking in millions form NY and Cali for being antigun and wanting to enlarge our medicaid in rural GA. WOW!! Hopefully, we stay RED, but who knows.

Hope all is going well! Hope the truck gets back fast Don.

Roy, hope you get a break in the weather to get a little more work done.

Andre, we want snow like that here too...but to start the day I get off work and be gone two days later when I go back to work

Have a good one everyone!!
