Tim beautiful picture of the lake.

Yes the park service has a bunch of these cabins in the back country of Yellowstone. I guess ranger spend the occassional night in them as the hike the back country.
I've had lunch a few time on the Porch of the Mary MT cabin.

They all seem to be 10 miles or so back off the roads.
We did what they call the"Three cabin Tour" a couple of years ago, Rode the horses in a loop that let us see three back country cabins

You can see they used the cabins a lot more in the past. Look at the time they spent building mangers for the horses to eat out of.

Great scenery Jon, they definitely don't build 'em like they used to!

2018 Homecoming pics:

Owen (left) and his best friend Evan. Owen does not have a GF currently. It's football season dad...there is no time for that.

Alec (right) and his buddy Brad. Alec broke up with his GF the day before the dance because she said she wanted to go to Homecoming with her friends. He said that was his senior year (she was a junior) and he really wanted to go with her. She apparently was treating him like a doormat. So he told her that she could do what she wanted and they were done. I was proud of him. He still went to the dance and had a great time!
Reps intended Andre, some fine looking young men you have there!
Seems the varsity is steam rolling their opponents this year

A mod for the Superduty. I don't want to have to futz around with measuring fuel treatment when I'm at the pump. It takes too long. I use PM-22a and Better Diesel Fuel Burn Catalyst. I put pre-measured quantities into small bottles that are labeled to match the amount of fuel pumped into the tank. The problem with the bottles is that they seal well enough to prevent most evaporation but they don't seal well enough to stop the smell from coming out. I wanted a solution that kept them upright and contained the smell. I bought a $9 plastic ammo box and cut bottle size holes in some 2" rigid foam insulation that I had from a prior project. So far, the cheapo ammo box is containing the odor well.

Is it just me or all the posted pictures showing up super blurry and then eventually fully rendering?

I was diagnosed with glaucoma today so when it first started this evening I thought maybe my eyes were worse than I thought.

It's not just you. I've been noticing massive pixilation that then cleans up to a clear pic.

Varsity soccer had a tough game last night. They tied 1-1, but earned the tie. The other team was really good! It was fun to watch. Alec only has 3 games left...starting to hit me

Good morning everyone!!

Plan on sprucing up the trailer a bit to have it looking good for this weekend's 3 day camping trip. We're taking the 5 yr old with us and got a call this morning that the 10 yr old got himself punished and can't go on the trip. For some reason school's off for Monday and Tuesday so the kids will be off. Hope the weather stays warm so we can take him to the pool and lazy river at the campground.

Saw this on Facebook this morning. Don't expect Utah reporters to be situationally away of Urban gangs like somebody living in Chicago or working in war zones.
But she might be aware of local wild life
