Ah... Sure...

I looked at a home a year back that was also in the woods and the woodpeckers destroyed 100% of the wood siding. Holes in almost every board. In the case of the home that I was looking at, I thought that bugs and moisture must have attracted the woodpeckers.

Cedar usually holds up, but constant dampness will be a problem. It's the main reason we were getting rid of some trees. Moving forward, we should be in good shape. We just love the natural wood siding over anything else.

The house is 33 years old, not 38. LOL. My house was built in 1985.

Good afternoon, crew!!
And another sunny day in sunny AZ! Nothing new happening around here. I think most people have gone into summer hibernation mode!
Have a great rest of the day. Later

I am so burned out on these schools I'm building. I've got to be done this week. Fire Marshall is coming wednesday and I'm not sure I will have the kitchen done. The Class 1 Hoods is missing parts that need to come from Redding California. Factory says too many employees have lost homes or been evacuated to continue working. So they don't know when parts will arrive. Aaaugh!

Feel like I've stirred an ant hill with a stick. Probably 70 workers crawling all over that project trying to get done. Somebody is always stepping on somebody elses toes.

But we are close

When I get done with these two I'm leaving town and taking the horses someplace where there is no cell service

I'm with Tim...stress is not good for you. You are doing your best Jon. You didn't cause the situation, you are trying to fix the situation. Good luck getting off that project and into a saddle soon!

Tim, glad you are feeling a little better! What kind of tires are you putting on?

Roy, great progress my man. Slow down...you are making me look bad!
