I wish I could say that was true. Although we are avoiding "excitement" - which is never a good thing at a refinery - we generally prefer to be very bored. Staying busy typically means something isn't going right.

Evening gentlemen. Rain has moved into the area and will hang around for the next 3 days. Bummer!!

On the truck front, more bad news. The damn CEL came on night before last and I can't get it to the dealer until at least Thursday. This now, is beginning to **** me off! The most anticipated summer we've ever had is coming up and the damn truck can't stay healthy

We've had a difficult evening here with one of our pups. Georgia, the Frisbee Freak has had 3 seizures tonight and is still not acting the way she usually does. My mom and dad had never seen her in a seizure and have really had a hard time with it. Ginger, the one with cancer is doing as well as to be expected I guess. Getting about time for another surgery to see if they can clear her throat again. It's been one of those days where everything has gone wrong, but tomorrow is a new day and a new shift.

Been up since 2am with a pretty powerful storm that came through and set all of the weather alerts off. It's been calm, except for the rain the last 45 minutes or so though. This weather is freaky!

Geez Monty, good luck with all that, you cant catch a break

 

Got back yesterday evening from a short weekend trip to Bogue Chitto State Park. Wife and I took the 4 and the 17 yr old grandsons and they had a great time. Had a little rainstorm yesterday morning but it cleared out quickly. Had to run the AC Friday night and then use the heat Saturday morning when temps dropped into the 40's. Good trip to check camper for any leaks..awning problems or anything else that plagues these new campers...lucky we had no problems. Longtime buddy of mine and his wife that live in the area came over both nights to eat..drink and supplied wood for the campfires!! Next trip to San Luis Pass Texas next month!
