Some of us are civilized cave dwellers Roy, it's best to not work "in" the snow!
Tim, you should get yourself a lift. Even if you only use it a couple times a year, you'll thank yourself for it. A man like you should be able to scrounge up a used one on the cheap. Just another farm implement.

I thought I was cheating by lifting the truck onto the stands, with the fork truck..................
I have thought about a lift........
