Glad the kid made it through more or less unscathed Andre. I'm sure it made an impression on him and in a way make him better for it in the end.

Those pictures sure make it look like sledding is no fun..... no fun at all. No, I wouldn't want to do that, it's just no fun. I learned from politicians if I say something enough it means it's true.

Andre, I second what Eric said. Trent's accident came a couple of months after he turned 16 and it was relatively low speed, so I asked the same question you did about higher speeds. It definitely made an impression on him and changed his mind about a lot of stupid stuff.

You guys are exactly where I'm at! I want them to have fun and ride. I really do...but seeing that makes you question going over 10mph. If you haven't drove a new sled, trust me when I say that the speed is deceiving. 80mph on a sled feels more comfortable than going 40mph on a four wheeler. The speed is dangerously deceiving. You have to be cautious all the time. I hope he has learned that. I'd be a mess if anything happened to my kids.

Rough day today...had to keep the 4 yr old grandson today for my youngest daughter while she worked. She said he wasn't feeling good but didn't take him long to feel better. He had me throwing his nerf football to him in the house and I can't believe how good he can catch and throw...lefty too!! Before we broke something we decided to quit and watch TV. Glad mommy came home at 4pm!!! This kid doesn't stop!!

Don, he looks like a hoot !
Enjoy !!
I managed to find an old guy that wanted to ride this afternoon. We had a great time and didn't break anything ! Not too bad for Iowa riding.
Darren, I'm afraid you wouldn't find any tree wells around here !
We don't dig out if we get stuck, we just back up and hit it harder.
Another Monday down the drain.

Good morning everyone...while the rest of the world is probably at work today its Mardi Gras day in the New Orleans area. Last day of the almost 2 week celebration. Me..I get to pick up the wife at the airport this evening after 3 weeks helping out her sister who was in a bad accident about a month ago.

Thankfully I resorted back to my basic training days! Stayed up to midnight last night doing all the clothes and dishes. Just got finished polishing the counters..tables and doing the floors. Only one that made some of the mess was my 17 yr old grandson who stops by once in awhile. I get on his butt before he leaves so he cleans his mess. Her plane gets in at 6pm so I have a little time to rest. Looking at my yard and the grass is starting to grow so later this week I'll start on the yard. Mid to high 60's today and close to 80 for the rest of the week...my kind of weather!!
