Good morning guys!
Alec is 17 today. His present is a remote start for the Jeep. However, the Jeep needed new tires. It also needed shocks (3 of 4 leaking and were dead). It had a cracked spring. Front universals were rusty. So I had a BDS 2" spring/shock lift put on. New Fox 2.0s at the corners and steering stabilizer. New front u joints. New Springs and adjustable track bars. It should ride much better. I wish I had the time to do this stuff myself. I really would have had fun doing it. Also had a set of Rubicon wheels and tires (taken off one that was new and having $20k in work done to it). It turned out great. I pick it up at noon today. They need to align it and road test.

I'm down probably 20 or so pounds since you last saw me Darren... So far it hasn't helped anything - diabetes or BP wise, but maybe the next 20 or 40 will. 40 more is my goal. Getting old sure isn't easy.
Glad I got those winter tires on. They sure help a lot. They don't totally remove the skidding and sliding, but they sure help out a ton!
Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Good morning guys!
Thanks for the kind words! We bought that Jeep 3 years ago and it has been good to us. It had 87k on it when we bought it and it has 118k on it now. It rides like new again now. Super nice.
My daughter made it home last night in time for dinner! It was really nice to have my mother with us too. It's the first time in 14 years she has been there for Alec's b-day. With it being so close to Thanksgiving, many years she has seen him then. So it was special being there.
Have a GREAT day guys!
