I'm loving this welder ****... I wouldn't be upset at those welds either!

Dim Sum - Good luck with whatever you decide. It all ends up working out one way or the other. Congrats on the road to becoming a father. How long until you get PCS'd again? Seems like your talent are needed all around the US - so getting somewhere else should be easy when you are tired of VA.

Nice picnic table Bill.

Thanks Lee, I am familiar with the Tips and Tricks web page. I have refereed to it often.

The biggest problem I'm having with this project (besides lack of experience) is that not everything that I am welding is the same thickness. The Channel starts thin on the ends and at the corners it is probably 3/8" thick. No reason to learn on the easy stuff, LOL.

Wow! Only 5 posts since I left work this morning. Is everyone sleeping in today (except Monty)?

Monty, when I get home from a night shift, I always let our boys out one at a time for a visit to the yard to handle any business they need to attend. This morning, neither of them wanted to go back into their kennels without a fight. Not what I want to deal with at bedtime after a very long night, and little sleep the previous day!

Tim, I get frustrated easily at times, so I would HAVE to learn on the easier stuff, versus starting off on the more difficult. The internet and YouTube are amazing resources though for teaching old dogs new tricks! I research a lot of things online before getting started.

Have a great evening gang. They are calling for flooding rains to begin to night, so I am going to try to leave a few minutes early to get home in the morning. I don't wish to be caught out in the pitch black, surrounded by water high enough to cover my headlights again!

Riding tomorrow. Over in the Black Mountains and down toward Lake Mohave.
Should be some pics to follow!! One of the couples in our group pretty much have every Monday free, so that has kind of become our riding day.

Looking forward to more great pics of the playing around Don. Jodi and I may become your neighbors in 10-15 years so we can wheel with you.

Dave, right now, we only have the Crude Unit and Reformer both running. The rest of the units are still down - either due to being directly included in the maintenance activities, or because they are downstream of a unit that is. No Diesel for now. Hopefully in another few weeks we will be fully operational again.

We went down to Southern Utah to "Get out of the winter" up north, Only problem was it rained all weekend down south and had warmer temps and no rain at home. Oh Well, it was a road trip and glad to get out.

We did ride, got soaked, but it was fun to get on the horses and be out doors.

Those of you East of us, Beware, That is a very wet storm sliding across the country.

Jon, we are on standby for the storm to get here late tonight and early tomorrow. The riding looks nice - despite the rain you had. The scenery where you ride always seems very nice.
Wanted to ask you as well, does your nephew really have his helicopter license? I've wanted to do that for a very long time, but have never had the funds available to get my rotary license.

Gonna have to call Lynn and get her to take away all the sharp objects and tools.

I like vicariously thru Jon as well Doug. His horse back riding trips are epic.

Dave how is winter for you? Happy Early Birthday!

Don - Pics.... or it didn't happen....

Tim Y. - Sounds like me. why bother learning on the easy stuff when there is complicated and tricky to do first.

Shoveled the driveway for the 2nd time today. Just glad I am not out driving around.

What winter? We are 66 and ac on in the house. In February not heard of. We set record temps the last 2 days by at least 5 deg. No snow. Just a lot of mud.
Thanks for birthday wishes. 67 isn't too bad.
