Morning guys,

Watched the first section over at my brothers up until Stenhouse took out Danica, Oh sorry dear Happy Valentines. haha Missed the Pace Car fire.

The trip to Spokane was uneventful but successful, I got the transmission I was after 99' 4R70W 4 speed auto with OD 26000 miles.

We have another 4 or 5" of snow this morning.

Have a good Sunday guys.

What a good laugh.
Who knows why that Chevy pace car caught on fire (extra electrical load, etc.) but there is nothing better in that video than an SD pulling up with guys ready to put that fire out.

How about Torque Converters? Do you have any preferences on heavy duty 1600 stall converters? This is the company I am looking at, looks like I will be spending more on a torque converter then I did on the transmission.

Converters - Ford - 4R70W / AODE - Triple plate 4R70W - DirtyDog Performance (Powered by CubeCart) - DirtyDog Performance

^^^^^ what Paul said, the stock torque is prolly fine...... 1600 RPM is not a lot of stall........ will you be street/drag racing .....

Tim. Unless you gonna be pumping big hp or racing.or have monster tires on it .stock will be fine. That converter is truly overkill not necessary. A really nice tranny cooler is your best friend.
