This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Structural calcs and load/stress test are what computers are for...lol. This is why I built that computer I showed you guys earlier for. I've been in steel construction since I was 15 spinning bolts in the trailer getting stuff ready for the "men" the next day. I sell mostly to larger companies now, but we still do a few small ones. Last year the smallest was around 8000 sqft and the largest was 450k sqft and 90' tall. It's boring to most, but it's all I know
now.. back to trucks? J/K hahahaha. I love the open discussion in this thread! I did get my LED bed lights installed last night. Wanted to do a write up on it, but I was told I had to many words in my write up from FTE. I can only use like 30000 characters or something like that. I will have to redo it to see if I can size it down a bit. The lights will come on via a toggle switch in the bed and also with a magnetic switch hooked to the tailgate. This way I can turn it on when ever I want (toggle switch) and they will also come on every time I open the tailgate. Here is a few pics after the install.
I like questions Tim, most of the time it keeps me from making a mistake before it is to late LOL. So thanks for the questions.
I can not put the crown purlin on the outside as it would stick out and keep it from being a "flush" surface to hang the tin on. The crown purlin is there in my building to mount the ceiling purlins on. For the crown and base to hang the tin on I will use Base Angle. A strip of base angle nailed into the slab and base angle bolted to the crown gives you both places to screw the tin in.
Thanks again for questions!!

The photo you posted earlier just caught my eye right away and I couldn't resist asking the question.
Good luck and I wish I would have known Andre when mine went up !!!
Thanks for understanding my post.
