Question Dana 80 Limited slip or Locker ?

I have a 97 DRW, 5 spd. man tranny with 5.13 and an open differential. On some boat ramps I need more traction to crest the ramp. Can someone recommend a "drop in" LS, Locker or Posi traction unit?? Appreciate any help guys, thanks.

Dana 80 Rear End

Surely someone in the group has worked with a L/S rear end in a Dana 80 housing. BUMP.

common L/S.

the power lok limited slip is a good start. easy to rebuild and common in the dana 80. not sure what is out their available for these axles. but i really like a air locker. full posi if needed and open diff in normal operation and just driving around and good on fuel mileage. i run a air locker in my dana 60. my dana 80 has a power lok limited slip. the only downfall of a power lok limited slip is the clutches wear over time but the power lok limited slip is probably the best of the clutch style limited slipes. if just using for normal driving should do well. but if running big tires and hrspwr might think about upgrading to something better. good luck.
