BG induction cleaning for our 6.7
So as I'm sitting in my dealer waiting for a reflash done they have a BG poster up and it got me thinking.... On my 6.0 I had a induction cleaning done they pumped a botle of chemistry in throu the EGR. Do any of you have a connection at BG to find out if they are making a prosess for our 6.7s?? I loved driving my 6.0 after the service it was like a new truck.
All be good!

BG makes a varity of fuel injector and intake cleaners, Egr flush for diesels as well. There stuff does work within reason but tends to be oversold in a lot of shops, giving them the bad rap you see now and then, because they put little "tokens" in all there bottles for the techs to collect and cash in with them as incentive to use there products.

the bg for your 6.0 that was introduced into your egr passage was designed for cleaning out the passage and saving 6-8 hours of labor and it works for eating up the suit.
but the bg diesel induction service is introduced through the fuel part 1 is in a container and the fuel lines are disconnected and the container with part 1 flows through the system as it burns part 2 is just dumped into the tank as it is called bg 244k for diesel. and at the same time the fuel filter/s should be replaced
now as far as does it work yes it absolutely, does a fuel adder every tank do the same yes i'd say so,
at the chevy dealership in the truck shop we have had countless times that a bg induction service took care of the check engine light usually due to getting fuel where it is the cheapest and not caring what tank it was pumped out of, and almost just as much times where it just pushed the check engine light back for two months untill the customer is finally aware of where they were getting their fuel
in diesel engines the main culprit is fuel problems
Hope this helped
