Wheel offset

Weld Commando 18X10 Rims

Hey guys, these were taken off a Excursion, dont know what year. The lugs are the same as my F250, but is that offset right to work on my truck?

The bolt pattern may work but I do not see any mention as to the off-set for these wheels. A wheel with a 10” width may have a backspace ranging from 3 – 6 inches on average and some may be less or more depending upon the application. Can the owner measure the back space for you and then you can have a better idea of how far in or how far out your tires will ride in the wheel well. The shorter the back space, the closer the tire will be to the truck. Are you running stock tires?

Edit: I see in the other pic the off-set is almost 5 inches so that answers that question. Now it all depends on what tire you are using

the second picture says 25mm offset, then im guessing that 4.9 on the same tag maybe backspacing. Im running stock wheels with 315x75x16. These wil be to put my next set of 35's on when I need them. Just liked the look and they look like a good deal to me.

It appears to me that they are -25mm offset. The 4.93" I believe is the center hole ID.

The -25mm offset will move the WMS closer to the centerline of the wheel.

Best bet is to either have the seller measure the backspace or if you are close enough measure them yourself.

25mm is about an inch. 10" wide wheel, with -25mm offset will put the backspace around 4 inches.

Is that a good thing or bad thing?

I believe the stock wheels on 99-04 trucks are around 4.25",

That's up to you.

It is close to stock, but we don't know what you want/need.

I just put a new set of wheels on my truck in 16x10.

They are -25mm (1") offset with 4.88" backspace.

I've had great luck with the 10" wide NOT rubbing the leaf springs. The downside is they hang out a tad further and dirty the truck easier.
