The "ugly truck for sexy people" finally sold.
I bought it last October for $1400. Put in a new clutch, return kit, slave cylinder, and a bunch of other odds and ends and just sold it for $1100.
It was so beat up that most people who looked at it didn't even want to test drive it. But then a guy came who was from Wisconsin and he was so happy to find a truck that didn't have rusted out cab corners that he made a good, solid offer.
The rest of the country must really be hurting for good trucks.

John we should go into business. I'll stockpile like 8 rust free cabs, and you can come pick them up with one of your big rigs and then sell them off in Michigan.

But seriously, it's really easy to find a straight, rust free truck with a dead engine for under a grand around here.
