Explorer 02 turns off when i stop in red light
First sorry for my english
I have a big problem with my explorer 2002, when i stop at a red light or just when I put in Reverse the engine start shaking and then turns off, that happens alot in a day. The fuel tank pressure sensor was found disconected but we conected it but the problem persist. I already clean the Idler Air Control and the Mass Air Flow Sensor and i dont know what more can i do. I appreciate any helps
Thanks

Also, if you haven't done so already, connect a scan tool and check for pending and current diagnostic codes. I agree Khadma that it sounds like you have a vacuum leak which could be a vacuum hose, gasket, or possibly an EGR valve that is not closing at vacuum.
My first thought was IAC, but if cleaning it had no effect that may not be the case. However if you scan the system and there are no pending or current codes, you may want to consider the IAC again. You should also consider installing a vacuum gauge and seeing what it shows at idle or just above idle.
