Hey guys, I painted the intake and valley cover onmy 292... Some of you guys may know, but originally was it more orangey or red?

The paint I bought was called "orange-red" which I thought was perfect...


Opinions?

 

Go here for more information and mis-information about truck engine colors than you really need to know. Yeah, that looks about right for the red/orange Y block color. Remember, the color varied by years.

I believe the 54 truck engines were more red and less orange...
