I was at El Dorado over the weekend and retiring it was the first thought I had when I saw how full the banner was.

I'll get our marketing folks to print us a new one and we can definitely retire this one.

Thank you Jose.... I can think of no finer tribute to both the members that signed it and a great member, Steve Price. I know Gail will treasure it.

Joe, you've really been a great addition to the FTE family.

Thanks for doing this.

Hey Guys.

CTC was a blast. Not nearly the turn out anticipated, but we'll do it again in 15 & your's truly will try and cheer-lead earlier & louder. The banner arrived in plenty of time.

Where would y'all like it to be sent?

Maybe back to Bill Pounds, if the presentation to Gail is still the final disposition.

Bill's in the Sierras for a week or so, so he may not see this right away.

What WAS the decision on retiring it?

Let us all know when the new banner is ready Jose.
Than this one can be retired for sure. May I also suggest
making it bigger and maybe print it on both sides so
both sides can be filled up. One side East and the other
West maybe. I am really full of ideas this morning. Or full
of something.

I might also suggest that with the new one, if folks actually follow the original rules and limit members to signing the banner one time and one time only, that it would last a LOT longer. I don't mean to throw stones, but when we had the banner in June I noticed chapters that had the same members that had signed it 3, 4 or more times.

Or revise the rules to something realistic. Even Steve disagreed with the current rules as he signed it multiple times.

Signing the banner once-only doesn't give a true picture of the actual participation at any given event.

What if everybody, except one, had previously signed the banner, and the event was something like, say, Carlisle? What? One guy signs? C'mon!

Jose. Spring is on the way and we are planning our 2015 GTG. Is the new banner ready yet? Inquiring minds would like to know!
