Miss at idle and rpm surge while maintaining speed
94 lightning with all stock parts. i had asked about this problem a few months back on the lightning forum here but i figured there are more people over here and its the same basic system. i did a compression test month or two back and all cylinders are within 15 pounds of each other. new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, MAP, TPS, ECT, IAT, timing chain and new oil pan and all the gaskets/seals have been changed. i have no vac leaks has good fuel pressure on both tanks and I'm starting to get to the point of burning this truck to the ground or throwing a carb and points in it. what else could cause these issues? any help is appreciated thanks

Ignition module. Mine went bad (same symptoms as yours,) I replaced it with an aftermarket one. Symptoms returned after about 40 miles, but I replaced a bunch of other stuff thinking my brand new module couldn't possibly be bad. I finally bit the bullet and get a genuine Motorcraft module, and haven't had a problem since.
