I don't mind mind too much, I wish it sounded better and was built better. the flex pipe really is junk.

Does that flex pipe leak or what?

The flex pipe was put on very badly using big hose clamps. They do leak a lot and my manifolds leak. Then it has the cherry bomb tube on each side which some people say it sounds ok but i still think it sounds pretty bad.

i know this has been on awhile and a little off subject but i had a 95 f150 and true dualed it with 2 and a quarter inch steel gate pipe( i know it is small but it had a sweet *** cackle to it along with it being loud and i had plenty of it free .. just like my 90 did) i just cut in front of the cats and went around the cross member and up and over the back axle then come out the side but like i said it sounded RIGHTOUS

2" 1/4 is about right for duals in a Bronco, but a single 3" pipe is the preferred setup. The performance effects should be the same.

Hmmm... well does anyone know of a good, free flowing dual in dual out muffler? I heard the magnaflows burn out quick. Preferrably chambered.

Flow master then? Maybe the super 40's? I know the regular 40's have had a history of drone noise in the cabin but i am sure they make them in dual in/out setups. And las i checked they were chambered.

Ive got the super 40's in mine but its only a single in and single out, with 1 cat removed and vented it before the wheels and I love it. It may not be as loud with the full tail pipe but it may be a bit deeper than how mine is.
These are both I took. The offroading one is good one to listen to it from inside with windows up

I wouldn't mind using super 40's but i would probably go with the imitation flowmasters cause they are cheaper to purchase.

Only issue with that is with a 96 you have emissions stuff to deal with. I don't know if having side pipes is going affect that.

The O2 sensors might be the only issue to be addressed.

I had a 1 in-2 out Flowmaster(50 or 80 series) I believe it is called a "crossflow". On my 88 351w. 2.5 in...used to be on my 91 Aerostar 3.0L lol. It sounded pretty good, except that it droned horribly. I had it dumped before the axle. Now that I have the motor built. Im running Hedman Elite thermal coated full-length headers, with a custom y-pipe, Full stainless 3in pipe, Flowmaster 40 series muffler, exiting from the stock location. It sounds great. Just like New Englanders...except more powerful/cammed. lol. I have an electric cutout for it as well that needs to be installed...But I have to pull the motor again due to a lower end knock.
You got yourself a good deal...and keep up the good work. I paid only a grand for mine...ended up only having 49k original miles on it. But it was a mess and Ive put alot of time and money into it...and Im still far from finished lol.
