351w tranny bolt up
Can someone please help..have 78 f150 4x4 ...engine bad in it can i bolt the tranny up to a 351w motor

what size motor do you have in the truck now? Also what model tranny do you have?

I beleive its 351m and tranny is stock automatic

no the 351w and 351m do not have the same bolt pattern. you will need to change to the correct bellhousing to fit. (one designed for a 351w)
