That is quite a parade of great looking trucks! Nice pictures and looks like a great weekend. Here it is raining, 2 inches in one hour yesterday and now it is raining hard again. Much better there.
Not only have I been drooling over the truck pictures but also the bales of hay . Due to the drought , round bales of hay are worth 100$+ , here in central Texas . Beautiful place , you guys have fun !
I just got back from Truck(Doc)stock. Honestly, most of the way there I kept wondering why I was making such a long trip and I was also wondering if by the time I got there on Saturday evening, if the gathering would be dispersing or already dispersed. Well, I need needn't have spent so much time and energy on such thoughts. When I arrived, there was still quite a crowd, food was being served, old cars and trucks were everywhere, and Bluegrass was being played from the front porch. Although Shane was clearly VERY busy, he made his way by a couple of times to chat and even found time later to sit by the fire with all of us later on. Doc has a BEAUTIFUL place up in the "hills" and the weather was perfect. I know he worked his bvtt off to create such a great experience for all involved. Thanks, Shane, for reaching out to the FTE family and hosting the first family get-together!
I also just got home from truckstock,Words can not describe the time I had.Doc and his wife and kids are some of the nicest folks you could ever meet. The FTE crew where wonderful, everyone got along fine, with great stories, lies, and jokes to go around,Homemades sponge Bob pj's where something to see [or not].Fridays game of wheres Bob {waldo}was fun till the end .I bet you have heard of fire walkers or fire dancers,But the FTE fire makers really put on the show.I will remember this weekend for the rest of my life. As it was the best automotive event I ever went to,and I have been to a lot.To those of you that canceled at the last minute,it cost Doc a lot of money out of his own pocket because you didn't show and the food had been already ordered. The crew that was there made up some of the difference but not all. I hope there will be a Truckstock 2013.Again thank you Doc.
