SD State are the Jack Rabbits. I've heard it's a pretty good school, up in Brookings, SD. USD is just up the road from me in Vermillion.

How far a drive is it to SD state from Omaha?

I'd guess 3 1/2 or 4 hours... I think Brookings is under an hour north of Sioux Falls.

Oh, and Pat... tell your wife not to do more than 5mph over the posted limit on I-29 through Sioux City... they use radar cameras and you'll get a $195 thank you card from the city if you set one off.

Brookings is exit 132, so 132 miles from the South Dakota line. From Omaha should be around 3 hours at speed limits. Little over 2 hours between Omaha and Sioux Falls.
