91 3.0l computer problem

i need to know if a computer out of a 95 explorer will work in my ranger. the explorer was a 3.0l but a automatic. my ranger is a 5-speed. will it work???

Computer Problem???

Ok here goes;; I was told that u need to replace computer with an exact specs of the 1 u have now. So a computer out of another vehicle & automatic won't work. I tried it & my ranger 5 speed runs awesome.
