Factory Fuel Sender Wires

Ok, I'm at the point where I'm ready to hook up the isspro sending unit into my factory fuel level gauge. I know its pin 100 but when I tried putting on wire to ground and the other to the gauge it didn't work. I have to cut both wires from the sending unit and hook them up to a relay to get this to work.

So, does anyone know, or does anyone happen to have their bed off and know what color wires are coming off the factory sending guage in the tank? I'm going to grab them somewhere along the frame rail to make my connections. If you could, look after the pigtail on the tank, I'm not sure if they are the same color on the pigtail as they are on the harness.

Stupid me forgot to look when we pulled my bed off at RRE.......

Thanks in advance!

Are you hooking an Isspro Fuel Level gauge up to the factory sender? Not sure if it will read correctly...

Sure will, custom built to ford specs. Just need wire color. Tested a few months ago, now ready for install and of course I didn't take note of colors.

Yup, Yellow and White. There has been a rash of fuel sender issues lately and I just looked this up to answer other questions. The overhead, the PCM, and the dash connector will have it.

So one wire from the new sender goes to the Yellow/White and the other wire on the sender will go to ground? Just want to make sure I got this right?
