2010 Escape Power Seat Motor

Hi All...
Right after my New Vehicle Limited Warranty expired, one of the power seat motors stopped working... (Figures-right? )

I inspected the unit(s) under the seat and it turns out to be a triple motor assembly of some sort (All 3 directional motors are built into one unit). Luckily the one that stopped working is the rear up/down motor, so it's more of an annoyance than anything else. As of now, I don't want to pay the $100 deductible on the ESP to get it fixed. I will wait until something else breaks and get them all done together.

Anyone know if this power seat issues is common, or if there's a remedy to get it working again?
I noticed I can buy a connector for it (Motorcraft wpt1004)... Are the connectors prone to going out? Any help would be appreciated.
