4wd front swaybar on 2wd

Doing a 4x4 conversion on my '92, and swapped coil seats, etc. over so that I can run the front swaybar off of the 1990 F150 4x4 parts truck.

Have the front TTB Dana 44 axle in now, and was going to mount the front sway bar, but it won't reach to each end link mounted to the coil seats. What gives? The front swaybar was mounted on this D44 front end just fine when it was still in the 1990 parts truck. Now it won't bolt up to my '92.
