wheel restore

Hello forum, I am ready to restore the wheels,- which is the best way- paint the wheel, then give it to the tire guy, or put the new tire on, then paint?

get the wheels ready first, then have the tires mounted. any good tire shop is now set up to mount tires without messing up the paint on the wheels. they should have plastic pieces that go between the metal tire tools and your fresh paint.
