MODED EXHAUST

Hey Rod, unless you've got access to a porta-power, or some other way to shift the cab floor around a bit, any 4" system you try to fit will end up being a 3.5" system or less with all the squashing required. Checking the pics of the MBRP & the Diamond Eye DP's, the Diamond Eye seems to have some extra slight bends which should make it less of an issue to fit.
I'm really happy with my MBRP which started life as a 4" which is probably down to maybe a touch over 3" now. Over the w/e I went down to the south coast with 500kg of cement, full tray full of building tools and wheel barrow. I think people take offence at a truck, complete with builders barrows in the back, catching them through windy bits as they always speed up incredibly when the the overtaking lanes come up. Mate this rig fairly flies now, down shift and boot it, boost instantly to 30psi (stock turbo with OCR), EGT max 500c (300 cooler than the stock DP), I thnk the JW valve body is also doing it's stuff too, the truck just leaps forward and around the moving obsticle which then quickly disappears from the rearview once a few corners come up - and I'm able to progress again at the signposted limit. Magic stuff really.
Did a quick 'eco' check too. 2 trips to the coast and back, so some fair hills and highway stuff, I did 766ks on 100 litres, so 13.05L/100k - the best that I've ever got out of the truck.
The Ford Australia 'abortion' of a DP - as Reg so aptly put it - has a lot to answer for!

OEM TURBO
I'm sure you'll be impressed with a good fit 4" Exhaust especially with the added bigger elbow.
I hope if you are only going with a 4" DP and not 4" all the way through to replace the 3.5" piping, you at least ditch the staggered OEM Muffler with a straight through muffler. They say 3.5" all the way is more than enough flow, but the Oval Shaped staggered inlet to outlet OEM muffler is a flow killer.
My Turbo is the 'Stock'OEM Garret. I have the Donoldson Air Intake (AIS).
Cheers,
Reg.

Rod, with your tools and beer inspired motivation you'll have no problem fitting the 4" DP!
Geoff may be able to add some tips on how to porta-power the cab floor into submission, and you have to cut the big protruding seem between the floor pan and the firewall off where the DP passes.
I'm sure you'll also see an incredible improvement overall once the 4" system is in (with straight through mufflers).
