Does anyone know if the bellhousing from a '79 F100 2wd w/4od trans will mate to a NP-435 or BW-T18 in a '78/'79 F150 4x4 originally equipped w/V8 when swapping in the 300, or would I need to find a 300 to 435 and/or T-18 specific housing?

The background: I have a '79 F100 2wd that's basically a parts truck now. I'm currently looking for a '78/'79 F150 4wd, which were equipped w/435 or T-18. I'm wondering if I buy one w/a v8 if I'll have bolt-pattern issues if I ever need to swap in my spare 300.

At this point, it's a theoretical question, but one that is guiding my purchase search.
