They're going to work you on it, probably with lots of double talk depending on the dealer's sales manager. But esentially whether its incentives or the dealer taking less, the name of the game is bottom line. The incentives are actually more for the dealer. The dealers around here that are willing to do internet pricing via email are pricing the 2012 $58-$59K Lariats around $48K.
Where are you finz. I'm telling you, you can find out the invoice cost of the truck. Then subtract the rebates, that's your price. Probably around 48K. Have the dealer show you the papers.
ruschejj- I'm near Sumter SC. Lookin for an f350 srw. As best I can tell the invoice is gonna be around 53k. The 350 srw are gettin pretty scarce it seems. I've got 3 dealers in a 50 mile radius and nobody has em.
I'm in Northern Cal and the local dealer thinks he can add a dealer mark-up of $5K to a Lariat. I don't think anyone doing business with him looks at this forum.
I'm lovin this thread guys. Years from now when some salesman gives me BS about a used 6.7 being a $65k truck originally - I'm going to know what they were really selling for ...
Just signed the paperwork today, and to say I'm excited is a BIG understatement!!
Sticker was $59,465, was out the door at $39,500(tax,license,etc) with trade they were giving me $11k for. Invoice was right at 55k. Feel like I got about all I could.
the 20k includes his trade in.. my total was 23k off sticker.

Yes, used x-plan (which you shouldnt actually have to use if you know about it, but they will say they cant give you that much yada yada yada), 4500 in rebates and trade.
I don't get the mystique over X, Y, Z, etc... plans. You can get the same and/or better deal by just asking. I think my negotiation lasted about 5 seconds.
In the next few days I will get some numbers thrown at me for a 12 F350 4x4.What is the best negotiating advise from ya'll that have been through it?...No trade involved but will put money down if the numbers are right?
